My name is Amanda. I'm a mom, a wife and a nurse. I'm also a runner and an exercise enthusiast in general.
I have lost 115 pounds through diet and exercise. At my heaviest I weighed upwards of 260 pounds. After my first son was born I knew I needed to change my life and so my journey began.
I've tried many "diets" including Weight Watchers, Atkins and Paleo but have settled in to a 21 Day Fix lifestyle, which focuses on clean eating with proper portion control.
It's all about self-experimentation. I am my own science experiment, constantly changing and evolving to find how my body works and runs most efficiently.
This blog melds my two passions in life, exercise and cooking, as I continue my journey of healthy living and raising a family.
